Looking closet to the NanoPi M3 on the board it does say "FAN" the 2 pins right behind the audio plug. I looked at the Schematic.pdf can't find the name fan any place in it. Maybe could see how it's wired up and control the speed then. Any one found how to do this? That fan nose is just wa...
So this was the 1st time I got sound out of it. Max2play worked right away when I started to play a song I did not know if it would or not. To bed the fan is so loud on this. I hope there will be a patch to have it slow down when it don't need to cool off. It has a nice audio chip in it. No need to ...
Wow no one can say how to "control" the fan. Plugging it in behind were the audio plug is make it super loud and it don't slow down any.

Is there any other place can plug it in so hardware or software can control the speed of it as it need it?

Looks like the HDMI is working good now. Not sure what was wrong. I can even move it around and still get video.

-Raymond Day
Put a new image on the 32 GB ST card I have and I booted up it still wasn't getting any video through the HDMI. But then I moved it a little bit and it started getting video I said yes it works. Then I plug in the Ethernet cable that is next to the HDMI cable and the video went off and I can't get i...

Just found out why. It was the cable! The Female 3.5mm to 2 Male RCA that came with this NanoHat PCM5102A. I moved the Female 3.5mm plug around and got it to sound right but just touching it can make it sound bad again.

Wow neat found out what was wrong.

It sounds good now.

-Raymond Day
Wow I just switch the PCM5102A board with my NanoPI NEO to the NanoPi Air and it sounds very good on the air and the other one works real good on the NanoPi NEO. I will just leave them switched. Not sure what was wrong. But the sound is very good now that I swap them from the NEO to Air. -Raymond Day
I don't know the reason ether. I guess something is bad on the NanoHat. I have one more NanoHat on a NanoPi Air. It sounds good. I thinking taking a heat gun on this NanoHat board for a little bit. Maybe all the pins did not get solder down on the chip. That's about what it seems like not all the so...
I did what you said and it still sound like junk! I downloaded a free FLAC song it seem to play good but never hard it before. I did not have the pin's to plug it in to my NanoPi NEO. But I order some from Jameco. Solder them in and play music and it sounds like speakers are in a can! I live in USA Michigan.

All the other orders I did came with the pin headers and I had to solder them in the NanoPi NEO and even the NanoPi Air.

-Raymond Day
Before when I got a NanoPi NEO it just auto came with all the pin headers and I could solder them in. But this time I really needed them because I got the NanoHat and can't plug it in with out them. But my order did not have them and looks like there is no way to even tell them to add that on to you...

Wow it be neat to get this to work. But I just can't get the sound to play with Max2play. I can play mp3's on the command line and it works. But when I go to the Max2play webpage on my NanoPi NEO Air is says "Squeezelite not running" I can't get it to run because it can's see the NanoHat P...

I guess it wants you to install java and don't want to because it has problems with hacks. So can't download it. But not sure I can't read it.

-Raymond Day
I installed the "nanopi-air-eflasher-sd8g-20161213.img" on you can use the command: flash_eMMC.sh -d /mnt/sdcard/Ubuntu-Core-qte/ They should put that on the wiki then. All they have is eflasher then "select your wanted OS and type "yes to start flashing" But if you type it...

It looks like you just hooked up the RS-232 lines up to that display is that right and it works like that? I guess have to have power to it too. They don't show it working with the NanoPi Air.

How do you wire it up?

-Raymond Day
I never seen it do "OS will automatically resize the file system" it don't look like it works. I can see what it does because I am using the RS-232. So it should show it doing resize the file system. I had to use a live GParted and then I made the 3RD partition small and the 2ND one made i...
What junk that they have it so it has no room left! I used my 128GB card and put it in a live Gparted and I decreased the 3rd partition so it made room for the 2nd partition. Now copying it to the eMMC now. Here is how it looks now. Ubuntu 15.10 FriendlyARM ttyS0 FriendlyARM login: root Password: La...

Thank you. On the 128GB it only was using like 4GB. I just could not expand it. I put the SD card in my other server and did parted command on it and made a new partition. Formatted it with Webmin. Then booted it back in the Nano Pi air. Mounted that partition to /media/tmp. Trying to copy the image...
I know it has 8GB on board eMMC but my NanoPi NEO Air will not boot with the SD card out of it. If I plug it in a LED goes on but stays on very dim.
